" it is common for people to fear how they are judged before another and i would think twice before i want to give bytes of info that may give an unintended impression. everything that is said and done seems so scripted to make things look good.

things like "i just won 20 bucks at mahjong!" may make people think i'm a mahjong junkie. "shiok ah 8 to 5 job in army" may make people think i'm a slacker. "i'm an officer" makes people have a generally good impression.

" Army starts again tmr. We’re that close to commissioning. 21032009. They always said OCS was 9 long months, but the 9 long months has finally come to 7 weeks. Before long I’ll be counting the days to my commissioning using my fingers. ;D

Oh well. I really miss going to school. Today’s visit back to NY made me realise how much I wanna be a student again. Being a student > being a soldier, lol. Even with the exams. " jiajie (pls dun charge me)

0) see my blog archive. the rate at which i update my blog. average 5-10 entries a month last time. now 1-3 entries a month LOL

1) away to thailand 30jan to 15feb.

2) in the mean time i'll be missing out on CITYALIVE, bouldermania and the rest of cny. zz.

3) by e time i come back. it'd mean 32km route march for csb. man routemarch again. and it'll mean last 2 weeks in arty institute. and den 3 weeks of SAFTI OCS. man i wanna go back.

4) i'm lookin forward to all the formal dinners and ceremonies of commissioning. comms parade, dinner, comms ball, ACPC.. will you be my comms ball date pls

5) i see all e climber officers all enjoyin ns life all rather slack not so chiongsua anymore. i cant wait to be like them man. den finish up my drivin license and concentrate on beach vball and gettin back my muscles and strength for climbing.

6) oh ya boulderactive falls on my comms parade. zz. means prob climbers will hafta choose btw watchin my comms parade and boulderactive. and also means i cant go boulderactive.

7) i hope thailand will be fun. not xiong. alot of eye-openers and sight seeing and enjoying of scenery and may the weather be merciful on me. dun be too hot or too cold (which apparently is the case now in thailand).

8) i've learnt abit more abt pool frm elwin alr. level up.

9) i want joey's list of clubbing music and have my own itouch and spam all the songs in it to groove to.

10) i wanna go back to safti ocs for 3 wks of joint term. im lookin forward to the month of march. but not so to the end of feb where i gotta do csb. routemarch.

11) i wanna mahjong summore, lan more, chill more and climb more...

Leaving for Thailand today. It’s going to be another fast-paced, suffer outfield thing, though I doubt it’ll be as imba as JCC back in Brunei.
I’m really dreading this Ex. Crescendo thou. Then again, what I’m afraid of isn’t the perils of living outfield (9 days again lol). I’m more afraid of not being able to perform up to expectations, esp in missions where they’re out to access you. Zzz.
Lol, the only good thing I can see is that the next time I blog from this computer, I’l be about 8 weeks away from commissioning!

1. im gg outfield for 3 days 2 nights too. except in spore. Ex. Firestrike.
32km tactical march. FBO. (yes F***BO), plus the Forward Observer's bag, plus all the extra fo load plus weapon.... i just hope god will bless me.

2. its an assessment exercise. if u fail or u dont score well enough, u dun commission. woot. moving with the infantry troops and calling for fire is another realm in my NS life so far. it has really taken me to another level of understanding and its NOT easy. so much info to upload into ur head. Enough about army. major chillings so far have been:
1. mahjong through the night with sooo many people. soo many times
2. night cycling into the new yr of 2009 with the climbers. ( like last yr)
3. sentosa at least 6 times these past weeks. nice playing with people who really knows how to play vball. zhengrui + yanberg = fun.
4. movies? ipman only =( i wanna watch yes man stil hvnt watch.
5. dota - the kill friendship game
6. opps hvnt been climbing. lol
7. Nintendo Wii! its fun! but lame. but stilll, fun! mario kart, bowling golf boxing tennis. errrhh!
8. xmas gathering w climbers was nice and heartwarming.
9. i think shalynn is a very strong girl. and i hope she stays that way. i know she will.
10. created a Forced Savings account ( My Savings Account ) in posb. hopefully will save enough from the army allowance to tide me through Uni life. 4 years hardly any income how to survive lol.
11. i wan my license soon and drive manual car zoom zoom.
